That is to say both the blossoms and her show are fresh and wonderful. Remember that many things come into season at different times. Here in Florida our strawberries were at their peak by the first February, while others were chin high in snow.

As for the show, it is simple....if you don't like it, don't watch it!

For the one who asked for the Pineapple cakes. they're under 'mini pineapple cakes'. You can look them up by looking for the Garden Party Episode. I found them no problem.
I thought the idea of eating a blossom was unappetizing. But with goat cheese and cream cheese... And FRIED! OH YEAAAH.
Great idea about making up your own stuffing too.

these are so very good, and versitale. you can make up your own stuffing. many of my guests were surprised at what they were. even my " i hate zucchini" friends enjoyed these. as far as giadas new show, i LOVE it!!! it's fresh, and you feel like you are right there with her in her kitchen. also, i like the idea that she includes many of her friends and family in the episodes. wish i could be invited. as far as the person complaining about the show, like myself, giada lives in southern california. we have a very laid back, casual way about us. that is reflected in giadas new show. it's very fresh. also, if something is not in season, then you don't make it. it doesn't take an einstein to know that!! looking forward to many more of giadas recipes.

Quit whining about how inefficient you think Giada appears on the recipe review. Instead, a more productive way to get your opinion heard would be to send an email directly to Food Network. The squash blossoms have an excellent taste and light crispy coating.

delicious, but the cream cheese and goat cheese filling was not as flavorful as the ricotta filling that mario batali uses for his squash blossoms at pizzeria mozza.
