Very Yummy! They came perfect the first time. The potatoes I used were very creamy and slightly sweet, and with the herb/lemon dressing, very delicious! I served them with the beef recipe on the show, but would have preferred them with either chicken or fish.

Love these potatoes! So fresh & light - I made them with a lemon pepper roasted chicken breast, but I think they'd go perfectly with a filet of fish next time. Will definitely make these again, this recipe is a keeper!

This was so delicious!!! It came out perfect on the first try! I read an earlier review where their potatoes fell apart during frying. I was thinking maybe they over-smashed the potatoes, or they over-cooked them during the boiling part. Or maybe they moved the potatoes around too much. Anyways, no problem here. Perfect crunchy and held together well. I sprinkled salt over the finished potatoes and left the sauce on the side to let everyone pour the amount they wanted.

I made this recipe with small purple, red, and gold potatoes. It was delicious and with all of the colors made a beautiful presentation. My hubby and I loved them! We both love lemons and this dish really stands out! I will definitely be making this on a regular basis.

I made this recipe tonight for my family and it turned out great!! Followed the recipe exactly--they were delicious! Crispy and brown on the outside and nice and creamy on the inside. The dressing added a fresh touch w/ the fresh herbs and lemon juice. Will definitely make again!

I haven't changed one thing about this recipe and I serve it often. When my grandson (20 keeps asking me over and over to make these potatoes, I know it's a success.

Made these for the 1st time tonight and wow - impressed myself making a vinaigrette let alone smashing and frying potatoes. ha Learned as many others did that if you don't watch out, potatoes fall apart in the pan, but the crispy bits that fall off are even more delicious. The combination of the citrusy herby vinaigrette and the crispy potatoes (I sprinkled them when almost done frying with a pinch of salt which made them even better was amazing. Make sure your pan is hot enough to fry the potatoes quickly. Mine took forever browning but I was nervous with a stove on too low. Another fantastic meal thanks to Giada!

I saw her make this the other day on TV and we had just dug some fresh potatoes from our garden. I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out perfectly for us. We loved the crunchiness of the outside of the potatoes, the creaminess of the inside, and the fresh lemon & herb sauce that was drizzled onto them. Mine looked exactly like the picture. Great recipe for us.

I'm so happy to have a new and inspired potato recipe. Creamy potatoes, crispy skins and tart lemon! Soooo good! My first attempts at the "smash" were a bit clumsy, but they came out delish none the less. This goes on the list of "go to" recipes!
