I made this without the strawberry sauce. It was easy and delicious. Was an impressive dessert.

I love the flavor but like others have said, the brownie was so hard to cut and get out of the pan. The next time I make it I am going to make the brownie separate and put the fudge layer on the brownie and then just put the ice cream on top of that. And then drizzle the strawberry sauce over the ice cream. My family love it!

It's alright. Nothing to right home about. Won't make it again. The topping was hard as a rock even after letting it set for a bit.

Delicious but DO NOT USE THE PARCHMENT PAPER. What a PINTA!!!! Made the presentation less then desirable after I was done peeling it off the bottom of the brownie. I was left with a gooey delicious mess. Which is fine if it's just me eating it but not when I am bringing it to a party. It was also really hard to cut.Don't leave it out too long to defrost because it will melt. I made this with the heath bar chips. Also the fudge top was delicious but it didn't stick on top of the ice cream. MAKE SURE that when you do put the fudge layer on top it is a quick thing bc the ice cream WILL melt if you take too long. Too many steps for a frustrating project but it tasted really good so I am torn. Honestly you might just be better off making this in seperate layers and when your ready combining them or make it a thing that is served in ice cream glasses so the look of it isn't so bad if what happens to me happens to you.

WARNING!!! Step away from the pan!!! My hubby and I devoured the pan while watching a movie! I planned on making this for Christmas Eve dinner tomorrow, so it looks like I am off to the store tomorrow to get the stuff for this again. I am just imagining all of the combinations I can do.....Brownie with Andies mints, peppermint ice cream..., brownie with peanut butter and strawberry ice cream topped off with bananas! This is AMAZING!!!!

Absolutely divine! Timing is very inportant in this recipe though make sure the brownies are fully cooled before adding the ice cream and I would highly recommend letting the ice cream set overnight as opposed to a mere 4hrs so that it is really firm. I waited 4 hrs the first time I tried it and when it came time to add the chocolate layer the ice cream started to melt so those two layers kind of blended but it was still very tasty. I would prepare this for dessert a day in advance and have another dessert on hand!

I never thought I'd ever say that something was too chocolatey, but this is. I made a homemade brownie base, which was delicious, added vanilla ice cream, and used the ganache called for. You need to let it thaw in the fridge for 30 minutes or the top cracks to pieces and it is ugly to serve. It was way too rich and no one finished. Next time, I'd cut the amount of ganache in half to make it easier to cut and less rich. I also used a raspberry sauce instead of strawberry and that was delicious. I'd also say to cut it in 16 pieces.

I made this for my Sunday family dinner and EVERYONE loved it! I have made some recipes from Giade before that have not turned out well but his was easy and fun for the kids to make! The sauce was one of the best I have ever had, and that includes restaurant desserts! You will love it give it a try!
