You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 2 almond biscotti
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries, unthawed (or any type of frozen fruit)
  • 4 teaspoons orange blossom honey
  • 4 tablespoons sliced almonds, toasted

Directions

Coarsely crumble the biscotti into 2 small bowls. Puree the yogurt and frozen raspberries in a blender until smooth and thick. Spoon the yogurt mixture over the biscotti. Drizzle each bowl with the honey and sprinkle the almonds on top. Serve with a cup of Americano coffee, if desired.

    I think if you omit the honey it would taste a little better, and I feel that it was little overboard on the raspberries. Maybe adding just a 1/4 cup would have made it a little more subtle. However, my son loved it!

    I just made this for tonight's dessert. It was pretty good. The biscotti had some cereal texture in the yogurt and I used frozen blueberries. Since I have only plain nonfat yogurt, I added about a teaspoon of vanilla extract (should be a little more than that. Next time I'll make it with the actual nonfat vanilla yogurt. In the tv show, Giada made it with 2 biscotti, but I would cut the recipe in 1/2 if enjoying it alone. It's still good.
