This was delicious, quick and my entire family loved. Make sure you use the course ground pepper which can easily be found in the spice section of the grocery store. I made exactly as recipe except I added a little more spinach just because I had it. Delicious side dish to chicken. Family has asked to make again. Giada never lets you down on her recipe combinations.

This was delicious, easy comfort food. I did use fine-ground pepper in the amount it recommends, and the result was nicely spicy. Next time I think I'll add more spinach!

Delicious. It really is the perfect weeknight meal. I followed the recipe exactly and thought the proportions were perfect. It wasn't dry at all and had great flavor. I will probably modify the recipe next time for a different spin, but it honestly doesn't need any adjustments.

I think those having trouble with the pepper quantity are not truly using very COARSE ground pepper. By volume, you would be using substantially less than if using regular and certainly fine ground... I nearly added more and I am cooking for my 18 month old along with my husband and myself. That being said, we all LOVED this dish! We have a 6 month old as well, so, believe me, I only cook easy these days. I did note the previous reviews and made a couple additions that did possibly make a difference. I had some sweet Italian chicken sausage that I browned and crumbled with a clove of minced garlic. I removed the sausage and drained it on a paper towel lined plate. To the drippings from the sausage, I proceeded with recipe, adding 2 yellow bell peppers before the spinach. I did cut back on salt because of the sausage and the previous reviews. I would suggest really going by taste on this one... At the end, I also drizzled with some good olive oil...just a smidge rounded it all out.

I was worried it was going to be too dry with a pound of pasta, so I added a jar of alfredo sauce with the mascarpone. It ended up very good. Next time I will try the recipe without the alfredo sauce. Thanks

Excellent recipe. great flavor. It also is a perfect base for adding your own ingredients and being creative. Modifying the original recipe by adding chicken, pork or salmon for a main course (you may want to adjust the pepper amount to taste or add red bell pepper, fresh par-boiled peas, etc. for a slightly different side. Thanks Giada!

I just made this for my family and it is soooo yummy!!! Very easy to make, not time consuming, and super good. I did not add all the salt and pepper that she did. The pecorino romano is salty enough!

Very easy, Solid Pasta Dish. I added chicken breast tenderloins to make it more of an entree, but it would make a good side dish without the chicken. It was Delicious. My Boyfriend loved it. We will include this in our meal routation.

Perfect quick meal for the entire family on a week night. I added cook chicken this time, but can't wait to add bacon or shrimp.
