Excellent recipe! Unfortunately I did not have the white wine but it came out delicious anyway. I substituted the fusilli pasta with cheese stuffed tortellini. Oh my gosh! Thank you Giada for this tasty and easy dish!

I am half Italian and love, love love, Italian dishes, this was the best ever. I am going to make in on a regular basis as it is so good. Thanks, Giada, what an awesome cook. I love the idea of trying it with grape tomatoes and will do that too. Great ideas from these reviews. I agree with them all, it is the best!!!!

Quick and easy. Made the following changes:
    - TOMATOES: Used grape tomatoes instead of sun-dried (cut in half, tossed with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and roasted in the oven at 400F for 20 minutes
    - ARTICHOKES: Used pre-steamed artichokes
    - PASTA: Wheat fusili was just as good; even my husband, who usually complains about wheat pasta, said he couldn't tell the difference!
    - WINE: Didn't have dry white wine (and since I used regular tomatoes instead of sun-dried tomatoes, I needed more sweetness, I used 2 cups chicken broth and added a teaspoon of sugar
    - SAUCE: The sauce was a little too acidic/sour, so I added a tablespoon of butter (and a teaspoon of sugar, as stated above

This recipe was a fast family favorite. I usually substitute italian ground turkey for sausage, to take the fat content down a little, and comes out delicious. I highly recommend this as an easy (but impressive dish for company, served with crusty bread and a big green salad, or just a low-key night in. Makes awesome leftovers too, so don't cut the recipe back if you're not cooking for 6 people!

My husband doesn't usually like tomatoes, but after tasting this recipe, his first words were, "This is GOOD, Babe!" This is definitely a do over!! The only thing I'd do differently is put the cubed mozzarella on the table for each individual person to top off their dish-- mixing it into the whole pot ended up with a clumpy cheesy mass of white stringyness. Of course it was tasty, but the mozzarella was in huge melty clumps instead of evenly distributed. Individually topping each plate would have worked a lot better. Otherwise, a fabulously yummy meal!

This has quickly become one of our favorites, although I prefer to use canned artichoke hearts, and I rarely have fresh herbs or mozzarella! I've also used a variety of pastas with it; orzo and the small pastas really work well! All-in-All -- a go-to recipe.

Very flavorful! A very interesting combination. I used sweet Italian turkey sausage and it was great. Also used marinated artichokes and penne instead of fusilli. Yummy! The mozzarella tended to make it clump but it tasted good. I highly recommend! This is over the top!
