I know this recipe off by heart and make it regularly. I use penne instead of fusilli. I also eyeball the garlic, herbs and tomatoes. I figure you can never have too much of a good thing! Whenever I visit family out of town, I know I can whip up a nice Thank-You dinner for them with this recipe. I usually serve it with a tossed salad and crusty bread and a nice bottle of white wine. I definitely recommend using the fresh mozzarella or pearl sized bocconcini to add an ooey gooey cheesy goodness.

Excellant!! Bought 1 jar of the marinated artichokes instead and used 1 cup of chicken broth and 1 cup of the juice from the artichokes. Extra garlic. Was very tasty-a little salty-did not add any salt at all to the boiling water for pasta or the cheese at the end-would have been even saltier... Will definitely make again though!

This is a great pasta dish full of fresh flavors! Rather than frozen artichoke hearts, I used two vacuum packed 8 oz. packages of artichoke hearts from the produce section. I also used a full 8 oz. jar of sundried tomatoes. This would also make a great pasta salad, sans sausage, served with a vinaigrette.

This pasta is so tasty and easy to make, the flavor combinations are great!!!! I have made this pasta for many of my friends and family even my picky eaters, who aren't fond of artichoke hearts, and or sundried tomatoes and to even their suprise they loved it!! I use bowtie pasta too the cheese and other ingredients really stick and nestle into pasta just as well as the fusilli

Easy to make, and great flavors. I made a few modifications:
- reduced sausage by 1/2 (I don't like too much meat
- omitted parsley, and basil is optional

Fantastic! I made it with hot italian turkey sausage. I didnt buy enough artichokes by accident, (which I couldn't find frozen i just used a can so i ended up adding some peas and it tasted great! My boyfriend is not a fan of sundried tomatoes and wasnt to thrilled when i told him that i was making this but turned out he loved it! He even took the leftovers to work! Another good one, thanks Gaida!
