Yummy flavor and super quick...cheeses used bring up the cost of the dish a bit, as asiago is kind of expensive...pair with some crusty french bread.

Giada is my favorite show and I really enjoy her recipes. I was out of Fusili so I used thin spaghetti. If I were to substitute again, I'd use Butelli. This recipe does call for a meaty short pasta. The flavors were pleasant, the cheese does add a great compliment. I used minced garlic from a jar, best to use fresh garlic for more flavor.

I watched Gaida prepare this while nursing a broken foot. I immediately called my husband to ask him to stop for fresh spinach on his way home. I gave him directions and we had a simply wonderful - wonderfully simple meal. We'll do this again and again...and are thinking that next time we might be just a bit sinful by adding bacon and using the bacon drippings instead of olive oil....can't hurt! :

I saw the episode with this recipe just yesterday while I was babysitting and was incredibly inspired - without writing the recipe down, I ran to the store on the way home and picked up the ingredients I didn't have plus chicken to make the dish a bit heartier for my fiance whom I was cooking for. I used rotini instead of fusili for even more fullness, breaded and sauteed chunks of chicken (adding parsley, a bit of the cheese, and crushed red pepper to the crumbs and served those on top of the pasta. It was a hit! And the flavor was fantastic - I would highly recommend adding just a touch of red pepper to the pasta and the chicken (if you add that piece for a nice flavorful kick!

My family loved it. I used Organic whole wheat fusilli and added garlic shrimp and crab to it. It tasted great and it was quick and easy to make.

I made this using whole wheat pasta and a little less cheese to make it somewhat healthier. It was very good and so easy to prepare. Would recommend this to anyone.
