I adore this. I made it for the first time years ago when the episode originally aired and it is just perfect. It's salty and tart and the tomato sauce almost gets creamy with the tuna in it. It's a really great dish. Perfect for me now that I'm pregnant and my cravings for citrus and sour things are through the roof!

Once my boyfriend tried this, he recommended that I feed the "slop" to the pigs.

I had made some of Giada's marinara sauce previously, so it was extremely easy to thaw it out and throw it into a pot for this dish. This was such an easy dish to put together--perfect for a weeknight meal! My husband and I were both struck (and impressed by the taste of the lemon zest, but it was not overpowering at all. In fact, none of the flavors overpowered any others, including the canned tuna. We both loved this light and tasty dish, and we can't wait to eat the leftovers tomorrow! I am a big fan of Giada's. I am slowly adding her recipes to my expanding collection, and I have never been disappointed with any of them!

Giada is great at coming up with delicious authentic Italian dishes - and this one is a winner. Some people thought this dish too 'bland'....but that is probably due to the quality of tuna they used. It is very important to use high quality tuna (imported Italian packed in oil is the best.If you live somewhere where it is hard to get this in your local market, try the internet. I have noticed that the quality of the usual supermarket brands has diminished to the point that I have to use the imported ( and I am not one to splurge unnecessarily. However, in this dish, a few extra pennies spent on quality ingredients makes the difference between so-so and spectacular.

This was tasty but somewhat oily. It seemed to mush together. I didn't have to worry about tuna chunks because mine just fell apart. Maybe tuna in water would be better or one can in water, one can in oil. Despite being oily, it was good and I would make it again!

Very easy to prep, cook, and clean-up. Maybe add a bit more spices. Definitely a good way to get the fish in the diet.

This is a great pasta to make for someone who doesn't have a lot of time, but still craves big flavors. Easy enough to make for one person or and entire family!
