Loved this on grilled ciabatta bread. Super easy and tasty. A nice alternative to hummus.

    This is very good!

I used cannellini beans instead of garbanzos just to try it. I had both in my pantry. I noticed that a lot of people said it wasn't very creamy, but with using the cannellini beans, it came out very creamy without having to put anything extra in.

I left out the honey because I didn't have any. I was going to replace with agave nectar, but decided not to. It's still very good without it.

Very tasty. I will definitely be making again. It's yummy on sandwiches too!

I made this spread today and I really liked it, but my husband didn't. I went another direction and I substituted the honey with a clove of garlic. It needed it some more oil to become creamy. For sure I'll make it again. For the ones that didn't liked it, I guess some strong flavors aren't for some people.

I was out of garbanzo beans so I used cannellini beans instead. It made the dip less dense so it was definitely a nice substitution. It is healthy and tasty.

This was fantastic -- a cross between hummus and an olive tapenade. Quick and easy and delicious. Served it with pita chips. Friends loved it too! Everyone who sampled it asked for the recipe! Thanks, Giada!

I've done a lot of Giada's recipes and with rare exception find them to be excellant. This one is a big exception. First off the appearance is less than appetizing (a cross between black bean puree & liver mush, and the flavor (to me was that of deviled ham. I served it at a cocktail party and asked for comments, general consensus being that it wasn't horrible, just not "good". I should also note that I prepared the recipe exactly as written.
