I didn't taste the orange, lemon, or garlic and followed the recipe exactly. It just tasted like regular chicken to me. However it was very moist and the gravy came out great. The 2nd time I made this, I basted the chicken with the mixture the whole time, instead of the chicken broth for the 1st hour. It came out a little more flavorful.

I just love this recipe very easy to put together, I like to make two at a time so I can have plenty left over for a nice chicken salad. I make it with the spinach penne pasta my family loves it.

This is the best chicken I have ever made! I cooked this for my family, one member is a chef and it was a hit. Even the kids liked it. I followed the recipe exactly and it was so juicy and the house smelled amazing. I served it with rice and steamed broccoli. I am thinking of using Giada's orzo salad as the side next time. Thanks for such a wonderful recipe!!! Your recipes are always a hit.

I love this recipe I was so intimidated of cooking a whole chicken but this really made it so easy to try. I'll be sure to try more. I'm a novice so I think it's one anyone can do.

I love making this recipe. I get all of my ingredients ready and go at it. The extra step that I do is Zest the Lemons & Oranges and mix it with unsalted soft butter and stuff it under the skin all the way down to the wings & backside of the chicken. It gives the chicken such moist & juicy flavor. Then I take glaze and add a little honey to it to give the skin a little crispy crunch and glossy shine when it comes out of the oven. Team this up with mashed potatoes & asparagas. With some cresent rolls - you have a winner! So good. My husband requests this dish on certain events and when he is done - he literally licks the plate clean!

This is a delicious and easy recipe for roasted chicken. My chicken was just shy of 4 pounds, so I cut my citrus pretty small so I could fit it all in the cavity. I didn't have a rack handy so I used a bed of sliced onions and oranges. Didn't need to add stock to the pan as it cooked as there was enough juices to baste the bird with already. The pan sauce was a nice touch, and my 3- and 5-year olds ate every bite on their plates. This chicken also made my house smell incredible and any arriving dinner guests would be salivating at just the aroma!

It was really moist! The skin was fantastic and the sauce was great as well. To conclude, it was great! though I was not really "crazy" over it.
