Giada's garlic and citrus chicken was good, but certainly nothing to write home about. If you're a beginning cook, or in a hurry and looking for something light and simple, this dish is for you. Otherwise, it was just okay for me.

Not only was the chicken very tasty, but the sauce was scrumptious too. This recipe was very easy, but the taste was fantastic.

This was my FIRST time making a whole chicken. Giada made it look so simple effortless I thought I would give it a shot and surprise my husband. I got an all natural chicken, about 4-5lbs, so the cavity was smaller than normal. When doing it again I would cute the orange and lemon into smaller pieces to fit more inside. I was only able to get half of each in the cavity and jammed all the garlic. I feel it would have absorbed the juices better from the fruit. I also had to reduce the heat slightly for the last half hour as I didn't want the bird to burn. Regardless, this was simple, flavorful and not too heavy. BIG FAN!!!

I thought it was OK, nothing to rave about! The meat was just too bland for me, none of the garlic or citrus got in... :(

Alright, this is a fantastic and upscale way to enjoy chicken at home. A great alternative to the chicken fingers and my 4 year old loved it. He must have told me 15 x's at dinner how good it was. It is a simple recipe and I continue to make it. I chose to skip the sauce at the end and still this chicken is so juicy and delicious! A staple for my family for sure! Enjoy!

I made this for my friends and I and we were kind of skeptical at first. I thought the citrus was going to be overpowering. When I pulled the chicken off the baking pan, the wings fell off (it was that tender and moist. My best friend and I each had a wing and we were amazed. The chicken absorbed the flavor so well, and it was not over powering. My friends and I ate that chicken so quickly, it was so delicious. Thanks for the great recipe.

I made this for my husband after he came home from traveling for several days. We were both amazed by the flavor the citrus added to the chicken. I didn't think that the chicken would be that juicy, but it was...and it was AMAZING! I have reccommended this recipe to all my girlfiends and my mother and it's there new favorite way to eat chicken.

I have made this several times after I saw Giada make this. It's a staple for my husband and I. It's got such a complex and delicious flavor form all the fresh garlic and herbs and the citrus, and it's so very moist. Delicious AND pretty healthy! The only problem I encounter with it is that the skin always burns when I start basting with the orange juice/herb mixture, but I found that if you put a loose layer of foil over the whole thing once you start basting it with the mix that it turns out beautifully golden brown. No more burnt skin for me! Oh, and I guess the chickens at my grocery store aren't quite as large as those Giada gets because I can never fit everything in the chicken, but I get as much as I can. You really can't go wrong with this recipe, though. AMAZING!
