While hosting a recipe exchange party, I had leftover ginger and the rest of the above ingredients on hand so I decided to make this drink. My girlfriends are still talking about the tea they had at my house and how delicious it was. Since the party I have forwarded this recipe to everyone who attended and they all keep it as a staple in their fridges too. You have to try this! Thanks Giada for another AMAZING recipe!!!

Tried it after ur episode and fell in love with it. My daughter started drinking it and stopped drinking her sodas. She likes the tea better.

A few wks ago I watched the episode with this drink and I just had to make it. I went out that day and got the ingredients, by the way I have never bought ginger root before. Anyway so I got the items and made my first batch and just couldn't get enough of it. I only like tea with lemon but this has that with a kick of ginger. I was so happy about the tea, that I made a batch and took it to our Mission Minded Women's meeting at church and the ladies LOVED it, and said it was so refreshing. Props to you Giada for your fantastic twist on great glass of tea!!

When I made this it was a little too sweet so I added a 2 cups of sparkling water and skipped the 2 cups of ice. Then added the ice as I served the drink. It was very yummy!
