I enjoyed this recipe, and surprisingly so did my 'hard-to-please' boyfriend. I made the marinara myself and since I had so much extra filing, I baked the rest rolled in Kale instead of chard. I don't recommend that, it became chewy. All in all, it's healthy, complete with fiber and veggies and quite tasty.

I make this quite often and love it, but I was looking for a way to make it simpler. Tonight I used leftover quinoa in place of the lentils and fresh baby spinach in place of the chard. I just layered the spinach with the rice mixture on top and then a bit more spinach before the marinara. The result is more of a gratin-type dish, but still the same basic flavors. Family loved it, so I'll work on presentation next since it is a bit sloppy with my changes.

I just finished making it about half an hour ago and to be honest, this dish is not worth the time it took to make it. It's nothing special. I was hoping it would have been something great but unfortunately it wasn't.

This was tasty. I had way much filling. Next time less brown rice. I guess. Definitely remove the stem of the swiss chard. It gets very chewy if you don't. I did not like the hit of olive oil on top at the end.

I made this last night and it was amazing! I used a spicy tomato sauce and the goat cheese was a tomato basil and one that was an herb goat cheese. Sooooooo good! I had too much filling for the amount of chard I had bought. Will just have to buy more chard and make it again.

I made this tonight for dinner and it was amazing. The only changes I made were ricotta instead of goat cheese and red lentils instead of green (for color. My whole carnivorous family loved it. Thank you for this easy and tasy recipe.

Made this last night and thought it was an awesome vegetarian meal for non-vegetarians. I don't rate recipes often except when I think they are really outstanding! Easy enough, great flavor, filling, makes enough for a family or is great for leftovers.

So good! I didn't change anything about the recipe. My leaves were a little on the small side, which wasn't the end of the world. I had a little leftover filling so I just threw it in the dish with the rolls. I'll make this again for sure.

i LOVE this recipe! and find it really easy (because i typically have most of the ingredients on hand and really flexible. lots of room to add spices/seasoning to your tastes. can also swap the arugula for any green you have on hand. i've also used different rice mixes/blends (last night was brown rice and quinoa with garlic. always a winner!
