This is so delicious. I would just leave the grapefruit zest off, because it's too bitter.

This was so easy and so delicious! I thought the grapefruit flavor was just right. Not too much, not too little. If you follow her instructions, and use an electric hand mixer, it turns out perfectly. It would be very tasty with lemon as well. My three picky eaters devoured it. That's always a sign of a good recipe!

Yowza! WAY too much grapefruit taste in the zabaglione. Plus, it just wasn't a tasty dish. Next time, I'll just top the berries with good ole whipped cream.

It was an amazingly simple and delicious, healthy and fresh dish. Very easy and simple to make and you can involve little ones in the process!

I just picked our first blackberry batch of summer. Wanted something besides ice cream to serve with them. This was perfect.

One thought about why some of these are too eggy or thin: try letting your eggs come to room temperature before preparing the recipe.

I made this for some adult friends we had over, because I wanted a light and easy dessert. It was delicious! Basically a thin custard, and you have to eat it warm. I didn't have grapefruit juice, so I used orange and it was just as delicious. I highly recommend!

My only disappointment was that I was expecting it to be thicker, more like a custard. It was easy to make and delicious. Even my teenage boys liked this. I will be making this dessert again!

Made this the other night and it was light and very delicious dessert. Only thing is I didn't cook it for 4-5 mins, but more like 15...it took a little longer to come together and look like what Giada had. Worth the wait though, wonderful recipe!

My boyfriend whipped this up after watching Giada this afternoon, and I must say that it was pretty amazing! Add the taste to the fact that he doesn't know a balloon whisk from a rotary egg beater, and you'd be equally amazed!

I can't wait to make this for guests!

I just made this today! It was delicious and not eggy at all. It feeds about 2 or 3 people. I have never made a zabaglione until today and i'm so glad i tried it. The recipe is simple and can be made from ingredients you most likely already have in the house (maybe except for grapefruit. I had to whisk for about 6 mins over a low heat and when it didn't thicken up enough, turned up the heat for the last 2 minutes. maybe an electric mixer would have been easier. either way, it was still very simple and tasted sweet, not sour. the grapefruit was really good in it, and i don't eat grapefruit by itself. It took a total of 10 minutes so i iike this too!
