This is definately my favorite zabaglione. The grapefruit juice gives the custard a light tang and keeps the perfect pale yellow color. I made this and put it over strawberries and blueberries and it was scrumptious. I also left out the grapefruit zest and garnished with fresh mint sprigs. The reason you guys have been getting an eggy taste is because you are not constantly whisking, or whisking hard enough because if you dont the egg will scramble in a way. So just whisk hard for 6 minutes and it will be incredible every time! This will be had over and over by me and my family!

This is really not good. I cut the eggs in half and still tasted a bad after taste. Don't waste your time, berries, ans eggs on this. Terrible sorry.

This was excellent! The hint of grapefruit gives it a light, refreshing taste, and it's sweet enough to take away the tartness of the berries while not being too sweet! It's perfect! I will make this again and again.
