Delicious! I forgot to poke holes in the pastry and I didn't have parchment paper, so I had to improvise. The mix of flavors was amazing. The simple mayo will be used on all kinds of sandwiches, now. I recently started a blog and thought that one feature could be sharing some of my favorite recipes. This was the first to be posted! Gotta give credit where credit is due!

Great meal! If the puff pastry is baked just right, the sandwich stays intact. But like some others said, single-stacked is plenty. I used leftover rotisserie chicken seared in olive oil on high heat and chipotle mayo. I think it would also be good in a pita. Easy, delicious recipe!

This recipe was easy to follow and very tasty. But be warned very messy when trying to eat. One is enough, very filling.

I watched the video and could not wait to make it.I Made a trip to the store for puff pastry. What a let down!! Puff pastry does not make good sandwitch bread. The sandwitch was bland...bland...I ended up eataing the chicken and and avocado with a fork. Put the puff pastry flakes down the disposal (what did not fall on the floor What a waste of time and money. I think it could be better on country white bread and some added flavor. Perhaps marinating the chicken in garlic, lemon juice and oil.

Love this simple yet tasty recipe. Sometimes, I replace the puff pastry with a simple whole wheat wrap. Makes lunch so easy and so gourmet!!

I though, and so did my entire family, that this sandwich was very good. I too, did not make it to be low cal - just something new - and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was tender, the pastry was flaky and the sauce, spinach and the avacado were delicious. VERY TASTY! I will be making this dish again soon.......

Saw this episode and was excited to make this sandwhich. Was very disappointed. First off, too messy with all the puff pastry for what a sandwhich is worth. Second, flavor of the puff pastry overwhelms the chicken, avacodo and mayo....and I even added cheddar cheese and couldn't taste it. Ended up taking it apart end eating it open face style. Not worth the time and effort.

This sandwich was a big hit with the hubby. We are not big avocado fans, so we substituted roasted red pepper for it and it was out of this world. We also did one layer as one of the other reviewers suggested. It was a perfect size sandwich.
