Great refreshing dish. Powerful flavors. Do not skip the fennel, it it sets the dish off! I followed the recipe exactly and found the dressing to be a tad salty. I think next time I'll make it skewer style. the sauce is very versatile. Yumm -- thx Giada!

Best grilled chicken I've had. I didn't have fennel seeds so I substituted with citrus grilled seasoning and marinated for about 8 hours. It was so delicious!

Absolutely fabulous. I especially loved the basil sauce. Had extra sauce that I used on other items.

So easy and delicious, great meal for the Summer. Fresh basil really made the dish. Added a little extra fennel in the marinade.

Good. Was looking for a recipe to use fresh basil from my garden.

SO delicious! I ended up adding more basil and lemon to the sauce as it was WAAAY too salty (and I am a salt girl!. That did the trick and it was a huge hit with the entire fam. I pounded the heck out of the chicken breasts, marinated them for about 3 hours, then put them under the broiler. I flipped it every 3 minutes until it was done. Perfect! Will definitely do this one again, I'll just cut the salt a bit in the marinade and the sauce. :

Another delicious recipe from Giada. The flavor is absolutely amazing. I doubled the marinade and used boneless skinless chicken breasts. Served with a green salad and Parmesan basil garlic bread. This one is a keeper!

I used this recipe to make grilled cod and it was a WINNER! The sauce was so fresh tasting and I was thrilled to use basil from my garden. My husband raved about it. I will try it on chicken next time. Update: I had some sauce left from last weeks cod and tried this out on chicken today...I'm telling you, it's LICK YOUR PLATE CLEAN yummy! It's so fresh tasting. I'd give it more than 5-stars if I could.
