Very simple and great to prepare ahead of time. Nice, light summer meal. Will definitely make again.

I prepared this dish for my family, knowing that the children would not care for the basil dressing. I marinated the chicken for 6 hours, and the fennel seeds provided a subtle and unique flavor. I had quite a bit of the basil dressing, which is much like pesto without the pinoles. It was so yummy and moist! The children loved the chicken, and I used the leftover basil dressing the following night on poached grouper. My husband called this "company worthy," and I agree!

I didn't use fennel seeds and I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Very tasty! I used fresh bail leaves from my herb garden, delicious! And its easy to make.

This dish is delicious!!! And easy! I'm not a fan of fennel, but the other reviews cautioned NOT to skip using them - and I didn't. They really added a lot of the flavor of the chicken. My only variation was I used lime juice instead of lemon - because I was out. The flavor was awesome! I will definitely make this again and again.

I made this today, and it was perfect! I love lemon and olive oil with chicken, and this didn't disappoint.
The basil sauce was fresh and citrusy! I used skinless chicken breast and thighs, and threw those babies on the grill. You have to try it!!!

My husband made this for me, pan-fried on the stove, and it was tender and delicious. Served with a veggie side dish and salad. This recipe is on this website twice, but the other one uses boneless, skinless chicken breasts. For diet reasons I might try skinless next time. I love the skin, but this has enough flavor that I think it will still be delicious without it. There's also a video on this site showing Giada making this, if you want to watch.
