I halfed the oil and lemon juice the recipe called for, used a little more spinach, added a little basil and garlic. It's soooooooo goood!!!!! Must try!!!!

I love pesto but where I currently live it's hard to get basil in large quantities. I loved the idea of using spinach instead. I combined this recipe with my standard basil recipe and added a little fresh parsley and garlic. I had a little basil and added 1 large leaf and substituted walnuts for pine nuts. I also cut it in half since its just the two of us. Really good, I might even make the spinach instead of basil no matter where we live next.

What an easy and wonderfully yummy recipe. The lemon flavor was a bit overpowering. I will use less next time. I also threw in a little cilantro. I pounded the chicken thin before grilling and wowee was this recipe amazing!!! It's a keeper!

Great, easy recipe. I've made this with walnuts instead of pinenuts. They are a lot less expensive and, to me, are tastier.

This pesto is soooo good! I think I like it better than basil. Made it exactly as is, but next time might have just a little less lemon. My husband and I are looking forward to trying it on fish and pork!
