Fabulous! And what an easy way to get my kids to eat spinach without even knowing it.

I made this and the sundried tomato pesto for my fiance's birthday and he loved them. I actually liked this dish better than the sundried tomato dish. The spinach pesto was full of flavor--the lemon was a real compliment to the spinach and packed a punch! I will definately make this again and will probably use this time's leftover spinach pesto on tortellini. Thanks for the great recipe, Giada!!!

This recipe was so very easy to make and tasted fresh and delicious. The lemon is a wonderful feature to this different style of pesto. Would be perfect on fish as well. This is a keeper!

I too experienced an oily flavor even with good olive oil, not sure why, but the recipe flavors are good and it was an easy weeknight recipe.
