Another wonderful recipe! This was so good I made a second batch of the tofu since I had sauce leftover. I like tofu, but have never had it prepared this way. The grilling gave it a nice texture and the salt, olive oil and herbs gave it a wonderful flavor. The avocado dip was light and full of citrus flavors. It was very easy so I will make this over and over again. With the exception of the veggie broth (the sauce was not very thick, so I didn't want to make it runny I prepared the recipe as it is written. The second time I did the tofu, I added a bit of garlic powder and a bit more sea salt than I did the first time. Wonderful vegetarian dish!

I liked this recipe, but didnt love it. I ommitted the parsley (no one i was cooking for, including me, likes it so the avacado cream was good, but boring. Though my vegan friend took home all the leftover avacado sauce, she thought it was that good. The tofu on the grill was great though. I did replace the herb de provence, because i thought it sounded all wrong, with a light dusting of cumin. The only thing i would do differently next time is add cilantro and/or a jalepeno to the avacado sauce. then it will be perfection!

I love, love, love, love tofu. But this recipe was not good at all. Tofu needs a LOT of love. Simply putting olive oil on it, putting on herbs, and grilling it is not enough. Simply getting extra firm tofu is not enough, either. To all the Food Network personalities: YOU MUST WEIGHT YOUR TOFU!!!! The grill lines were nice and pretty, but did nothing for the taste. I've done tofu a hundred different ways including this one, and this was by far the worst. The avocado sauce was not great either.

This was the first time I had tofu prepared this way. I discovered I really don't like tofu in mass, rather only in bits in hot and sour soup. I found this to be rather tasteless and in great need of a lot of salt. I did not make the cream so I cannot comment on that, but the hummus I added did help make the tofu bearable. i won't be making this again.

I like the tofu by itself and the avocado cream by itself...together it seemed like something is missing.

My first time trying Tofu and was amazingly surprised at how good it was. I have made it twice. Needed to spice up the avocado and added salsa which was good, but better was without the sauce and using Herbs de Provence Olive oil along with the Herbs de Provence and after cooking topping with roasted vegetables. Served this over arugula, great healthy lunch or first course.

I love tofu. I have recently tried baking it in my Nuwave oven. I created my own sauce and served it along spicy peanut sauce with brown rice. Delicious. Thank you Giada for another great tofu recipe. I have tofu in the refig and will try yours tomorrow.

Loved it. However, next time I might bake the tofu a bit before grilling it, so it's firmer. The sauce is excellent. My husband and I think this is great as a vegetarian appetizer.
