I love anything that calls for lemon. This meal is wonderful. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful. I loved the lemon flavor with the vegetables. I'm not a seafood person, so I left the shrimp out, but this is one of my favorite recipes. I like doing it on the charcoal grill for the extra flavor it gives, but it is good on a indoor grill as well.

Great marinade, great healthy dinner. Giada made hers indoors so I thought I would do mine on the stovetop grill pan and I have to say unless you have really excellent ventilation I would do it outside, the marinade smokes like crazy.
    Thanks, will make again,

I've only made the marinade and used it on boneless, skinless chicken breast and on shrimp. I let it marinate for about 3-4 hours. The shrimp was amazing, with a vibrant lemon flavor. The chicken was particularly good added to a salad. Nice fresh flavor & low carb!

the longer you marinate, the better. add plenty of olive oil to the orzo b/c it sticks when sitting.

I love a recipe that makes me go WOW and this one certainly does just that. It sure made a lot of marinade. I think next time I will only make half the recipe of the marinade and it will still be plenty. My only complaint is now I have to clean my entire stovetop from the indoor grilling which does make somewhat of a greasy splattery mess. Next time I make this I will do it on the outdoor grill.

I prepared this recipe for our Father's Day cookout. My husband eats seafood, but not meat. This menu was perfect - everyone had something they enjoy. The recipe was easy- the flavors are light and refreshing. The presentation was lovely. I'll definitely use this one again.
