I make this recipe throughout the summer months by request of friends and family! Modified it a little, I leave out the wine (Honestly, it seems a little much. Instead of wine, I sprinkle a little finely chopped toasted pecans and then add the cheese. Yum!

I made this tonight for a BBQ with friends. I did not use the white wine (honestly, I forgot! but I'm glad because I think it would make it too sweet. Also, I used more vanilla in the mascarpone than called for - double or triple probably. It was very easy to make and didn't take me away from socializing because the preparation is almost non-existent. Will definitely make again - and have already recommended it to a friend who couldn't join us! Delicious.

This is the first time I have made this and I was really excited to try it because the peaches I bought were so sweet. Well, It was not that great, I would say this is just average. I would not serve it to guests at all. I will not make this again either.

I have made this several times at our outdoor barbecues. I do not use the wine and the cheese. Instead I used a good brandy, chopped some walnuts and added it to the mixture. I served it with whipped cream on top.
My guests loved this version. Good luck!

I did this at a dinner party and it worked perfectly. The only thing I changed was the cheese. I used a local pear goat cheese instead of the mascapone to make it a totally local dish. The guests raved especially my sister who is gluten and dairy intolorant. Finally a dessert our whole family can enjoy!

Super quick, a hit every time I make it. The best part is being able to finish this off quickly while guests are over. Also great for summer cooking and not a lot of heat in the house.

I was so excited about this dish...it sounded elegant, rich and yummy. Yummy it was not!
It was AWFUL!
I prepared it exactly as directed. In my opinion, the dry white wine ruined it. I modified the recipe by omitting the wine AND Mascarpone cheese. Instead, I used a dollop of real vanilla ice cream and added fresh raspberries. DELISH!

This is an easy and simple recipe i can prepare in 20 mins. Brandy is a must as it brings the wonderful flavor. the second time i made it we drank all the wine during dinner. but i still served it as a dessert without wine. Still taste wonderful. Be careful on the quality of the wine as it makes the dramatic difference. choose something a bit sweet and something you would drink.
a great success. thanks giada.

The first time I tried this recipe I didn't care to much for the mascarpone with just the vanilla so I added some of the brandy marinade and it was just delicious. But after watching todays show with the Angel Food Cake and Mascarpone cream I will add the whipping cream to the mascarpone the next time I do the grilled peaches.. I will most definitely use this for my guests.
