This was okay. I don't think I will make it again though.

First time I had made this the wine took over the flavor of the brandy. Second, time I didn't use the wine and it was wonderful combination. Wine and brandy didn't mesh very good together.

Excellent flavour with the mascarpone but I would decrease or eliminate the wine as I found it to break down the cheese and did not add to the dessert.

Not to sweet - just a perfect dessert or pre dinner treat!

It was delightful and very flavorful. I grilled the peaches on an indoor grill pan but they still had all the grill marks and the smell in the kitchen was divine.

I added a bit of ground cinnamon and allspice to the mascarpone cheese before I topped it on the peaches.

Overall the recipe was easy and my company really enjoyed it.

Although the grilled peaches were a great idea, the mascarpone was not sweet enough. Still an interesting combination.

Grilled peaches, wine, marscarpone cheese...all good on their own, but put it all together...yuck...

Eeek! My friend and I tried this a few nights ago and we must have done something terribly wrong. Normally I adore Giada's recipes, but this one was definitely not a keeper...the marinated peaches, when eaten alone, were absolutely delicious, but with the wine and mascarpone, terrible! I suppose 90% of the bad taste was due to the wine (it was pretty cheap white wine, so make sure you have a good bottle on-hand, but we thought that the wine overpowered the wonderful taste of the marinated peaches. Perhaps try serving this WITHOUT the wine if you don't already have some good stuff at home.

the brandy sauce was way too much for this recipe. it did not mesh well with the wine either. i think it would be better with glazed peaches and the mascarpone only.

horrible recipe. Peaches became soggy when they were done being grilled. Sauce was extremely lemony and sour. I didnt even bother putting them in white wine because i didnt want to waste the good wine. Absolutly awful.
