This recipe was terrific! We loved the sandwich and the mayo. The sandwich is enough for more than just two people! My boyfriend and I couldn't finish the sandwich on our own. My favorite part was the mayo. I could even see myself using the mayo recipe on other sandwich recipes.

My husband and I just devoured this sandwich. I love the lemon mayo although I made a little mistake by putting the herbs de provence in the mayo instead of on the pork. The mayo sat in the fridge for a day so maybe the flavors had a chance to blend or mellow--or whatever! It was still delicious. Good stuff Giada!

I don't even love pork but this recipe is about delicious! I am always looking for new ways to do pork because my husband loves it. But I am getting bored with the same old rice, grilled pork chops and apple sauce. I came across this one and gave it a try. The cheese is a perfect blend, not too strong but very flavorful. The lemon-basil mayo is the star of this! Thanks Giada! your husband is a lucky man!

I made this for dinner tonight after my husband saw the episode. It was delicious! He loved the mayonnaise/basil/lemon mixture. Everything was so tasty and flowed wonderfully together. Thanks Giada for making me a wonderful cook yet again.

I had everything on hand to make this recipe except the fontina cheese, so I substituted fresh mozzarella. Wow, what a delicious, easy gourmet sandwich! I roasted a pork tenderloin instead of using chops. The herbs on the tenderloin were a nice, special touch and went beautifully well with the basil and lemon mayo, which was delicious too. This sandwich is impressive enough to serve to guests. Everyone will love it.
