    Cooked per recipe (except I used canned artichokes instead of frozen and I and my guests thought it was awesome!!! Flavorful and light mix well with the meaty halibut. LOVED IT, no complaints, no changes!!!!

    Substituted yellow onion for shallots;a can of fire roasted tomatoes in lieu of regular diced tomatoes, skipped the wine.
    A great sauce for almost anything- chicken, pasta, other firm fish! KristinesCuisine rates this one a top 25 Keeper in America's Kitchens!

    Although I thought this was delicious, it wasn't the super star so many of Giada's recipes are. I think maybe next time I'll use a little less chicken broth and let the wine and tomatoes shine a bit brighter. But it was an extremely easy dish and a lovely way to serve halibut. Thanks again, Giada!

    So glad I didn't go with the last review. I kept thinking how can everyone else like it so much and this one review says its bland. Well it is anything but bland! All my friends and family loved it. So favorful! Follow the recipe and enjoy. Thanks Giada

    This was a bland and boring recipe. I wouldn't make it again. The individual components were better than putting them together. The fish was good by itself, but there was no reason to put a bunch of bad soup on it.

    Excellent dish! So very tasty. My husband loved it and he doesn't usually like fish. I used red onion instead of shallots and marinated artichokes instead of frozen because that's what I had on hand. It's a beautiful dish that would be great for company. Next time I will serve it with warm french bread to soak up the wonderful broth.

    This was good and healthy recipe. Wasn't expecting for the dish to have so much flavor, but it did. I'll be making this again for sure.

    This is a favorite in our house. We usually use tilapia because is it more economical than halibut. We also use marinated artichokes and rinse them partially..adds a nice flavor to the broth. Very easy and delicious. Have made it for company a few times and it is always a hit. Served with a loaf of crusty french bread and sometimes a side salad. Delicious!

    I used marinated artichoke hearts from Spain and didn't use wine. The recipe was still excellent, VERY easy and quick to prepare.
