My family really enjoyed this....even my 16 year old son loved it and asked for seconds....will definitely make again. the only thing is, I would add a bit more salt to the fish

This is a a light and healthy dish. I cant find frozen artichoke so I used canned artichoke. It tasted delicious ....Will definitely cook it again. Love your show, Giada!!

This was a very easy way to get my family to start the year eating healthy. If you must have carbs, a little whole wheat pasta could be added. However, we thought it was great as is.

First time I had ever made fish and it turned out perfectly! My mom and dad were visiting my husband and I. We live in Seattle so I had purchased fresh halibut for this recipe. I also cooked up some rice to serve with the dish should anyone want to try it with rice. My husband had it without rice and said it was delicious. It wasan absolutely fabulous meal! Felt like we were at a restaurant. My dad gave it 11 stars out of 10 and still brags about the meal to our family and friends. Thanks for making me feel like a successful chef, Giada! I will definitely make this again!

My Lady is the best cook....but I'm the fish monger in the house. This recipe is absolutely the best ever. I now use the tomato base for other fish as well. I do grill my fish on the Weber in the fish holder. Fish retains it's flavor, and the broth is FAB!

Maybe I did something wrong, but I really wasn't impressed. Definitely would not make it again.

This was delicious! I made some changes in preparation (I usually do because I make something else similar and thought these ingredients would be wonderful for a change. First, I didn't want it to be too brothy so I basically followed the recipe up to the point of adding the liquids (BTW...I added prociutto to the olive oil prior to adding the shallots which gave the finished product a mellow smokey quality. I added the wine and let it cook down to about half, then added about half the amount of the broth, tomatoes (I used fresh cherry and plum tomatoes rather than canned, thyme, pinch of red pepper flakes and brought the whole thing to a simmer. Then I cooked the fish on the grill for 2 mins per side and finished it IN the sauce (about 4 mins +/- depending on thickness of fish. Next time I will just cook the fish in the sauce and skip the grilling altogether which is how I make it in my other recipe.

This is a company worthy recipe! Thanks Giada!

I cannot believe how wonderful this recipe was. Like most everyone else, I had one or two personal changes, onions instead of shallots and I grilled the halibut in foil. It was the first time I had ever used cooked halibut, but I intend to make this recipe again and again.
