I cook alot, but fish is not my strong suit. This truned out absolutely fantastic!!! I will even try it out on company. So easy, healthy and so tasty, my husband didn't even notice that I snuck in brown rice as a bed for it! So easy to make after work too. This is one we will have often.

This is a very simple, satisfying meal. Nothin fancy or too flavorful, but delicious none the less. I only wish it was easier to find halibut steaks rather than filets.

My first Giada recipe was a success. The sauce was so delicious! Next time I will increase the amount to have more! It cooked to a syrup very quickly. I did halve the oil and honey though, so that could be contributing. I am not sure why roughly a third of reviewers didn't like this much, maybe they just aren't that into balsamic vinegar like the rest of us!

this made the fish mushy and sauce was unremarkable.

I tried this recipe my first time preparing halibut. It worked wonderfully and was so easy. I highly recommend this dish for those who are newer at preparing fish or just those who want a change of taste.

Halibut is my favorite fish and the balsamic reduction added a very nice sauce. White rice and sauteed asparagus and mushrooms made a great complement to the meal.

This was incredibly tasty, and I paired it with Giada's parsmesan crisps-1 under the fish atop some butter lettuce leaves, and another heart shaped pamesan crisp on top the fish, and that balsamic glaze was soooo delicious! Definately a winning dish!

I normally do not like fish much and so do not buy it often. But when I saw this recipe, I decided it looked good and might be worth a shot. I did not know that halibut would be $20 a pound (! and ended up using cod instead. But even with the substitution, this was delicious! My bf and I both loved it!

Thought this dish did not have much flavor. Will not make again.
