This recipe is a great presentation, but was not a big hit at my party!

All of my guests loved it. I described it as rice krispie treats except with popcorn instead. I used the snickers and almonds topping. Really easy to make! Yum!

My kindergarten class made these with a microwave in our classroom. We used microwave popcorn and crushed mini Oreos. We colored the marshmallow mixture with orange food coloring. I made a math/science experiment by letting the kids predict what would happen with the marshmallows when they melted, measuring the butter, and discussing corn kernels and why they pop. Then we had these yummy treats for our Halloween party!!!

When the mixture is cool enough, butter your hands and form them into balls! Then you can add colorful sprinkles to highlight any holiday. Its even fun to put sticks in them for a treat for the kids (and the kids at heart Wrap them in festive cellophane bags with decorative ribbon for a cute gift!

I made this recently and my entire family is begging me for the recipe! I made it with heath bar crumbles and m&ms. Cooking the popcorn over the stove is definitely the way to go. It's so easy and tastes great!

I made these for Christmas, varying the M&Ms for red and green peanut ones and added just almonds. These were oohey gooey and delicious. My kids just love them. I also used air popped popcorn, PERFECT! I am making another batch to hand out as party favors!

i had a lot of fun making this recipe. I found that the whole popcorn over the stove method was AWESOME..i will never buy microwave popcorn again..it takes the same amount of time to pop either way. Instead of adding big chunks of halloween candy and what-nots i made it a little simpler. I went for honey-roatsed peanuts on top, followed by stove melted chocolate, and melted caramel. It delicious!!

I am surprised by some of these reviews, but like many others i made a few tweaks. I followed the ingredients but did use microwave popcorn and had the kernal issue, but certainly easier than popping in a pot.

For the treats, I did mix them in a bit more with the popcorn and marshmallow to allow them to stick better and to give a better overall bite.

I think this is a great twist on a simple idea for Halloween. Everyone I shared with enjoyed! I used fudge stripe cookies, Twix, Peanut Butter Cups and Toasted Walnuts for a balance to all the sweet.

Served in cellphane bags and made great presentation!

i used bag popcorn to save time but be sure to get all the loose kernels out before mixing. i learned the hard way and thought i'd give everyone a heads up. i also went for the smaller bite sized snickers and mini m&m's. super easy to make and wonderful to eat. thanks Giada!!
