This recipe was very quick and easy to make. It was like a warm brownie. We served it with ice cream.

I messed up on the word go. First, instead of semi-sweet I used bittersweet chips. Instead of only using half with the hazelnuts I used all of them and my nuts were still warm from toasting. Needless to say the chips melted and made kind of a gooey mess and I forget the flour so I added that to the sugar mixture. I set this aside and finished the rest of the recipe. I used the rest of my chips in the 11oz bag. Also, my food processor was too small to handle everything so when I got to the end I had to fold the gooey chocolate mess in with the rest by hand. I was sure it would never turn out. It was fabulous!! (I was working with a 2yr old by my side.Hence, the difficulties? Will definitely make again. Better than the box brownies!!

    I really enjoyed this one.

Prep time and difficulty (noneare right up my alley. Besides, any dish with chocolate, nuts, and brownie/pie like can't go wrong!

I was drooling by the end of the show!

I am an accomplished baker and a frequent food network viewer. My girls saw the show and wanted me to make the recipe. The crunch from the hazlenuts was nice, but the "cake" itself was lacking in flavor. It either needed a deeper chocoate flavor, more sugar, or maybe even salt.

This recipie is a winner. I love the texture you get when you run the hazelnuts through the food processer. I added 2 tablespoons of chocolate surup to the mix. my whole family loved it. It's a chocolate lovers dream.
