    I liked this recipe because it was a neat twist on an old favorite of ours. I also tried something different... I added dark (80%cacau chocolate to the mix. It was a great hit!

    Seriously, I'm not a big cookie person but I ate a whole plate of these! I couldn't stop eating them. Neither could my husband. Peeling the hazelnuts was a pain but well worth the added flavor!! A MUST holiday cookie!

    I make it without the toffee candy, and it is really excellent. Bake them for a shorter period of time if you want soft cookies. They are wonderful both soft and hard.

    I made these cookies for my cookie day at my group, the group just loved them. they wanted to know where I got the recipe from. told them to watch the food network for great recipes.

    These cookies are scrumptious! Everyone loved them. I did cut out about 1/2 cup of the sugars and they were plenty sweet. I also made one batch with almonds which turned out great!

    These are amazing, people go nuts for them whenever I make them. I've done them without blending the oats (fine and using one or two 100 Grand candy bars when I couldn't find toffee (just as good.
