This cookie was okay. It had too much going on so when you bit into it you really don't know what the flavor really was. Next time if I am going to make a hazelnut chocolate chip I am going to make a chocolate chip recipe and just put the hazelnuts in that.

These cookies are easy to make, made a lot and are delicious. Another winner from Giada! The only thing keeping me from giving this recipe 5 stars is the fact that the toffee bits were barely detectable in the finished cookie. I did not use an actual crushed Heath bar because I could not find them in my grocery store. I found a bag of Hershey's HEATH BITS 'O BRICKLE Toffee Bits and used them.

Very good cookies and pretty easy to make! I would just make sure to leave the hazelnuts a little on the bigger chunkier side, if not it all blends together. But still absolutely delicious cookies!!

These cookies were a mouthful of decadence....The toffee, hazelnuts and chocolate was a wonderful mix.

These were really great! I love the idea of putting in the toffee bar (I used Heath. They are more of a crispy cookie, though. Since I prefer more of a chewy cookie, I gave these 4 stars.

I believe my dad said it all when he said, "this is officially my new favorite cookie". I just made them this morning and I must say that they are fantastic. I followed the recipe just as Giada suggested. The only thing I did, was I baked them for 17-18 minutes because 15 minutes didn't seem to get them done enough for me. I used the Heath Bar Bites and broke them up with a mallet and they worked just fine. You will definitely be making these cookies more than once!
