These cookies are delicious! I cut back on the white sugar to 1/2 cup instead of 1 cup.
Other than that, I followed it completely and made them nice and big. My husband said they are the best ones yet!

Good cookies! I unfortunatly, did not have the toffee bars or hazelnuts so I just left them out. I'm sure the addition of these two ingredients would produce an excellent cookie. Giada never dissapoints. Also, I'm out of parchment paper so I just greased the sheets with butter.

These cookies don't last long in the cookie jar being that they are so YUM! I Under bake them and they stay nice and chewy.

Really great chocolate chip cookie recipe. I made them as a gift and put them in a decorative tin for an out of town guest who was visiting. I had made a different chocolate chip recipe which turned out hard and brittle and started over with this one which came out superb. Thank goodness.

As for the best chocolate chip recipe I've ever made, while this one is really, really good, I think I'm going to have to give the edge to Alton Brown's "The Chewy". That chocolate chip recipe is just the awesome -est!!

how could you not like these cookies. if they came out hard, you didn't make them big enough. Decadence at its best. Thanks Giada

Giada did it again! Excellent! I made these cookies without checking the pantry first so I had to improvise. Used instant regular and maple oatmeal packets. Cut the amount of sugars in half. Used walnuts and white chocolate chips. Delicious; maybe I won't share. Lol

I followed the measurments strictly. The cookies were quite harder than I would like it to be and there is quite a lot of choclate. In general it is tasty.

If you have never made these cookies before.. TRY.THEM.NOW. These are so good! When ever I make these, I always have to eat the whole two batches by myself. = I love to eat them right out of the oven. Crispy on the outside, soft and a bit chewy on the inside. Do not forget the toffees.. A KEEEPER FOR SURE!!
