I loved this cinnamon roll recipe! It was quick and easy to make and the hazelnuts and clove added warmth and depth. It was a nice twist. I made this for an office potluck and got so many compliments!

I'm a professional baker, and usually make my own sweet roll dough for cinnamon buns. This, however, is the best shortcut recipe I've seen and used. I normally don't have hazelnuts but I used pecans and they were wonderful. The mascarpone and buttermilk made a great yummy glaze, and I think I'll be using it for my carrot cake(not so thin though. I do have to "mess" with Giada's recipe and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the glaze. It adds a beautiful flavor to the mascarpone. I would also suggest trying orange oil(one or two dropsin the glaze too.

They were so easy to make and baked very light and fluffy. The next time I may add just a little more filling for a richer flavor. The icing on top was perfect.

These have a great 'holiday' flavor to them. I will definitely make these this Christmas season. My husband, whose grandmother was "the best" baker, said these are the best he's had

They were really light and fluffy and the brown sugar made them so syrup-like. They were fabulous.
