These were easy to make, however I didn't pinch them so they were a little spread out. The marscapone cheese was a nice touch to these. My family enjoyed these! Thank you!!

These Cinnamon buns is a winner I use Macadamia nuts instead, of course because I live in Hawaii.I gave some to our good friends and he couldn't believe that I made them and that they were homemade...like we say in Hawaii " It is ONO"....Mahalo Giada for the recipe...

    These cinnamon buns are delicous!

Like other reviewers suggested, I increased the amount of cinnamon filling and icing by 50% since I love my cinnamon buns to have lots of flavor and very gooey!

I substituted the mascapone for cream cheese and made my own buttermilk since it was such a small amount (just mix vinegar with whole milk - recipes can be found online. Next time I think I will use a higher ratio of cinnamon to cloves.

These were delicious and easy! I had left over pizza dough and didn't know what to do with it, and this was a great choice!!!! I didn't add the hazelnuts because I am not a fan of nuts but it turned out amazing! I also did not make the frosting becuase the cinnamon rolls by themselves were already perfect! Thanks Giada!

i am not exaggerating when i say these are the best cinnamon rolls i have ever had. i made them for my entire family on christmas morning and they were such a hit, people still talk about them. i am still getting aunts and cousins emailing me for the recipe. i made the dough from scratch, a general dough recipe but the filling and icing in this recipe can not be beat. if you like them extra gooey, make sure you prepare extra icing, because this is "just enough". i also think it is a good idea to make some without hazelnuts because not everyone likes nuts. they are incredible!!!

and so easy to prepare. I make these 1-2 times a month and use walnuts, cream cheese, and 1% milk. The cloves give these rolls a wonderful spice!

We prefer rolls that have lots of gooy, sticky goodness and without frosting. These are probably better with the frosting, but I did not make it. What we got were the kind of rolls that are hard on the outside with some, but not enough sticky goodness on the inside. Also, the hazelnuts were a bit too hard. I like the idea of using walnuts instead, as other reviewers mentioned. I will make these again since they were soooo simple, but next time will double up on the filling and use walnuts. Thanks :

I made these for my boyfriend the other morning, and he ate every last one that day! I used macadamia nuts instead and toasted them so yummy!!! I am on my way to the store now to make them for my friend for breakfast!

You should be able to get frozen bread dough at any supermarket, it is near the frozen prepared pies, garlic bread, etc. Rhodes is a good brand. You can also use frozen dinner roll dough (pillsbury, etc but weigh it and make sure it ends up the right amount, I used the dinner roll dough and a little easier to use since it isnt all frozen together, thawing is quicker! Hope this helps!
