This turned out great! Used the juices in the diced tomato can to make make sure it had enough liquid. Family loved it! Next time though, will double the green beans and halve the pepper. The meatballs were so tender, will make those for other recipes too.

Delicious! I didn't have a red pepper but I shredded carrots and added fresh baby spinach. It was amazing. As well, I did not have red meat so I substituted ground chicken and added an extra sausage. I made a larger portion so I can freeze half for a busy work week. Another plus is that my husband didn't mind eating his veggies! Amazing, Giada!

A Keeper!! I used kidney beans instead, added 2 cloves grated garlic. I'm amazed at the flavor despite how easy and only a few ingredients goes in. We loved it!
Looking forward to making it for my son when he comes home from college, he will enjoy it so much! Thanks Giada, simple yet so goooood!!!!

This was one of the most delicious dishes I have ever cooked; however, I wasn't prepared for the length of time it took. It took me twice as long to prep and more than twice as long to cook (the potatoes and beans wouldn't soften as the recipe promised. I was reluctant to try it again, but my family loved it so much I will give it another shot, but start an hour earlier.

Loved this one! It was flavorful, tasty, and a wonderful way to get in veggies all in one serving! I served this with a dinner roll, and Bam.........it was yummy! I plan on taking some of this to work for a delicious lunch. This one's a winner; a new family favorite!

Such great flavor! Like others, I used spicy Italian sausage, and a clove of garlic, minced, in the stew base. It's such a nice complement of vegetables. Both times I've made it, I've added an extra cup of chicken broth because I like a brothy stew.It takes a little longer than the 20 minutes.
