This soup was so easy to make. I personally love spicy food so I used the full amount of crushed red pepper; however, if you don't i suggest cutting it at least in half. I also only blended half if it to leave some chunks in the soup. I also didn't use the garnish, the soup itself is delicious. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. It is full of flavor and healthy too.

I LOVE this soup! I did a few things differently... I added garlic salt instead of regular salt, I added 2 TBSP of Balsalmic Vinegar & 1/2 cup heavy cream at the end. You MUST add a dollop of sour cream to your bowl, it really adds a nice touch. I also finish it with a drizzle of balsalmic vinegar & shreds of basil leaves. Its also great with croutons, but I love it best with a hot crusty roll. YUM!

Kudos to Giada for another great recipe that my entire family- husband and 3 kids, ages 11,9 and 6, all like. Toned down the red pepper for my 6-year-old, used sour cream instead of creme fraiche, and served it with cornbread - Yum! However, I must say that it doesn't look anything like the picture if you blend it.

I made this for a casual party and everyone raved. I was asked for the recipe by several of the guests, which is always a good sign. You really must have the dollop of lemon-rosemary creme fraiche or sour cream to complete not only the image of a delicious bowl of soup, but the flavor, too. I made a huge batch and now have several containers in my freezer ready for an easy supper this winter. Thanks, Giada, for another easy and tasty recipe!

I have never made tomato soup. And I loved this. I had some sour cream with rosemary...and I didn't like the added rosemary at the end because it was like eating little sticks in your soup. But the sprig I added to the soup itself was good. I think this was excellent, with most of the items coming from things I usually keep onhand anyway, which is nice. Try it. You will never want to eat canned soup again.

This soup was amazingly easy and so delicious. If you're a fan of tomato soup, beans, or rosemary, you'll LOVE this soup. Be prepared though, it won't last long!

Wonderful soup, very comforting on a cold rainy day. Soooo easy to make, too. If you like tomatoes, you should definately give this one a try. Although, my husband who doesn't normally like tomatoes loved this soup.

I am a tomato lover so I had to try this soup. I loved it (as did my 3 year old. It was so easy to make, a nice variation from roasted tomato or basil variations. I love heat, but a little too much here so i'd cut the red peppers flakes back next time. Loved the added benefit of the beans too!

I made this using all the same ingredients as noted. The only thing I changed was , I reduced the Salt ( personal taste and I used 1/2 the red pepper flakes. It had just a hint of heat which was fine for me, but that is also a personal taste thing. I used low fat sour cream and all the lemon zest and fresh Rosemary as called for. I Love this Soup and will make it often. The Beans add a nice texture and makes the Soup more filling.

This soup was soooooo delicious! My fiance made it for dinner last night and it definatly was filed with our keepers after we ate. He followed the recipe to a t with the exception of substituting sour cream for creme fresh (Giada suggested this as an alternative on her show. The soup had such a nice, round flavor. The lemon was such a lovely compliment. I would recommend this to anyone- no alterations to the recipe needed.
