We liked this one. It was a filling appetizer. We thought the stuffing was a bit bland though. Next time I would probably add garlic or maybe something spicy. Just need to "kick it up a notch".

Great idea and concept, but hope you like parsley! Lightly sprinkle with 1 tbsp. parsley and use another one of your favorite Italian seasonings or herbs!

I was soooo disappointed with the outcome of this recipe. All I tasted was provolone cheese. I went out of my way to get this cheese from Bristol Farms and used all the ingredients to a tee. The presentation looked nice, but the distinct taste was overwhelming.

This was great and I don't even like tomatoes very well. My husband loved it, he even had seconds.

I made these along with Giada's herb-crusted lamb and both dishes were such hits! The tomatoes were super easy to make and they looked incredible on the plate - so much so that my boyfriend made me take a picture and declared it "the most beautiful meal you've ever made."
What I will probably do next time is drain the cut and cleaned tomatoes upside down with a paper towel for a bit before I stuff and cook them next time. The were just slightly too moist. I also used panko Italian style bread crumbs (found at Whole Foods for the same price as regular Italian style bread crumbs but adds an extra crunch that is FABULOUS and I think that really made these stuffed tomatoes nearly perfect.

I made this and it was very good. Had a slight aftertaste which I think was from the provolone. I'll try it again with romano next time. Liked it and would definitely make again.

These are a really easy and tasty appetizer. They also look really fancy and are great for a dinner party!
