Because I made this recipe and I thought it was not so great. The tomatoes end up very tough / hard and the inside is very dry and the only thing you can taste is parsley. I followed the recipe to a T and found it very disappointing.
I will not make this again.

I needed to throw together a quick side dish for a few friends that were comming over well it turned out to be more than a few and I remembered this receipe, I happen to love tomatoes so its one of those items I can never have enough of in the fridge, to save time I didn't stuff them I quickly cut them into quarters and using your recommended ingredients threw it all into the oven together I was crossing my fingers that they would all like it and they did. If had been less of us i would have taken the time to stuff each one.

This recipe is delicious, easy, and restaurant quality. They're also family friendly, as not only my husband and I enjoyed them, but my small children loved them as well. Delicious, rustic, simple flavors layered in a wonderful piece of comfort food. These will be a Thanksgiving Favorite this year (2006.

This was a really easy recipe that was full of flavor. My cousin and I had a girls night at home and made these for dinner. They ended up being the perfect portion for us.

I thought these turned out very tasty. I did add garlic. In addition, I put the tomato pulp in the chopper for a few seconds as the pulp was a little tough. I also added a tablespoon of butter to the breadcrumb mixture. Yummy, will make again

I didn't have any provolone cheese, so I just used parmasan, but I didn't think the recipe was lacking. Although I did feel that the amount of oil after baking was a bit much... next time I'll use less.

Too much parsley (it's all you taste and they really need salt. I'd probably add a little garlic and fresh basil next time.
