Okay~ I followed this recipe to the exact measurements expertly recommended by the skillful Giada. I thought that just the 1/4 cup of lemon juice in the dressing sufficed and not the added 1/4 lemon juice also for the quinoa. However, with every bite I strangely pined for yet another bite! Next time, I shall use only 1/4 lemon juice in the dressing only, to see if my palette is equally as pleased with this healthy little number. Thank you, Giada!

This was my first time making quinoa and I followed the recipe exactly as it says. I thought it was too lemony, as many people have said. I enjoy the lemon flavor, but it was very overwhelming. Next time I will skip out on the lemon in the chicken stock and probably use less in the dressing mixture.

Delicious! We made it with homemade vegetable stock, didn't reduce the amount of lemon and LOVED it the way it is. We served it cold and will make it again for sure!

Wonderful recipe! I made Giada's grilled salmon with salsa verde along with this side dish and it was very tasty! After reading some of the reviews, I, too, decided to reduce the amount of lemon (though I love lemon since it was my 1st time making this and I was serving it to extended family (and didn't know how "lemon-y" the end result would be for our taste. I kept the 1/4 cup in the quinoa during cooking and then added the juice of one small/medium lemon into the dressing afterwards. The only other change besides the amount of lemon was that I substituted vegetable stock for the chicken stock. I doubled the amount of quinoa for our crowd and doubled the dressing as well. I ended up having just enough dressing for the quantity of quinoa served/eaten (only 1/3 of the total amount cooked and still have 2/3 of the quinoa left (without dressing. Delicious, light and healthy recipe. Can't wait to mix up another couple of batches of dressing for my remaining quinoa :

Delicious and so easy! I use a little less lemon juice in the stock. It's my fiance's favorite way to eat quinoa.

If you follow the recipe to a tee, you are going to seriously regret it. There is WAY too much lemon in the recipe. My husband could barely choke it down and that was after I tried to save it by modifying the final results. Sorry Giada but I will be using extreme caution if I ever try one of your recipes again.

This was my first attempt at quinoa and it completely flopped! It had WAY too much lemon in it. I could barely eat it. My husband took one measly bite and almost spit it out. I'll read reviews before I make any more of Giada's recipes and adjust accordingly. I'm not sure if I'll try quinoa again though. This might have ruined it for us.

This is my new favorite lunch bite or dinner side!! I took several reviewers' suggestion of cutting back on the lemon. I've also now taken to adding toasted pine nuts as well as plump blonde raisins (from gourmet store; not the bland little Sunmaid ones - absolutely delicious add-ins! I think I've shared the recipe with at least a dozen girlfriends now. Thanks Giada!

I made this with the Grilled Salmon with Citrus Salsa Verde from the same episode, and the flavors of the two dishes married very well. It was my first time cooking quinoa, and I thought it was a delicious recipe - one that I will definitely try again and perhaps with different combinations of herbs to match whatever main dish I'm cooking.
