Really tasty. Thyme was overpowering, though. Next time, will omit this from the recipe. Overall, very good!

A tasty great al.ternative to rice. Combined with the tilapia with mustard chive sauce and yam and carrot puree it's a killer combination.

    Hello from Killington, Vermont!!!

I never have cooked quinoa before, but this recipe sounds so simple and easy to prepare. Looking forward in making this dish. Thank you Giada for sharing this recipe to us!

Delicious as a warm side with salmon. I used 1/2 lemon for the oil mixture and omitted the lemon juice when cooking the quinoa. I tossed the zested and squeezed lemon in with the grain to simmer. This makes alot more than 4 servings and I look forward to using the leftovers in a cold salad with shrimp, spinach, sundried tomatos and olives.

Great side for any dish. The lemon is not as overpowering if you really use fresh herbs. We added steamed shelled edamame. It added a great crunch.

I read the comments that the lemon is a bit strong, and thought to myself that I could compensate for this by adding addt'l items to the dish to spread out the flavor. Stir-fried zucchini, yellow squash, julienned carrots, cauliflower, and chicken. Then took the quinoa (which had been cooked already in the chicken broth and lemon herbs and added to the stirfry. I let this cook together for a few minutes in the pan, and the final product was perfect. The veggies and chicken absorbed the flavor and made this extra delicious!!

To sass it up add smoked salmon and capers. I also loved the simplicity of the recipe on it's own. Using herbs from my garden is always a good feeling. healthy. savory. lemony.

I thought the quinoa was very good but the lemon in the dressing was too much. I would half the lemon and maybe add garlic and a little bit of red pepper for a tiny bit of spice
