Way too much lemon juice for my taste! I love the herbs though!

Always looking for ways to use quinoa and this is one of my favorites. I was expecting it to be a little bland, but thought I'd try it anyway along side the Salmon with Citrus Salsa Verde. There is so much flavor in this dish...the lemon is tremendous. It's very tasty and is perfect with the salmon. It's a must try if you're looking for a healthier side dish.

I have made this at least a dozen times. My family loves this with salmon and steamed broccoli. I leave out the lemon juice in the dressing, but still add the lemon zest. I usually throw in whatever herbs I have around or substitute dried herbs if I'm out. LOVE this recipe!

We're *really* not fond of quinoa, as a rule, but we can eat it this way and enjoy it! It makes a very nice change from rice-potatoes-pasta. It's also healthier than most pasta salads.

I made quinoa with water and lemon and it was pretty bad. Quinoa has an aftertaste if not prepared correctly. I found this recipe and it is delicious. What I did differently was put everything in a bowl in the microwave and cooked for 8 min., stirred then microwaved for 1 minute more..let it sit to absorb all the flavors. This dish is so healthy and good.

Great flavors and makes a good basic dish to build on. Even better the next day. Could add nuts or dried fruit to change it up.
