This was my first time cooking Quinoa and I have to say that I am very impressed. The recipe was so easy and it turned out to be very tasty! Thank you so much - I definitely will be making it again.

I made this for my family on Tuesday for the first time, and will be making it for guests as part of a Sunday night bbq! It's that good. Definitely will often replace rice or potatoes in our house. We used a bit less oil in the dressing (and then held back a little of the quinoa so there was enough dressing to coat. The lemon level was good for us. Loved the dressing, but the quinoa just out of the pot was terrific too! (I mixed the quinoa that didn't have dressing with some tabouli for lunch...yum! Enjoy!

Great recipe. It was my first time trying quinoa so this was a good recipe to start with, really added some flavor.

I liked this recipe, but my husband LOVED it. I used the full amount of lemon and was happy that I did. Used the juice of 3 total lemons, 1 1/2 in the broth and 1 1/2 in the dressing. I also used an organic Quinoa, but I'm not sure that matters. I had fresh basil and parsley from the garden but used dried thyme, which seemed to work fine. I do wonder if I should have waited for the Quinoa to cool before coating it with the dressing in order to keep the herbs bright green and prevent them from darkening? When serving, keep in mind that it is more filling than it seems at first!

Agree with previous posts. This has too much lemon. Like the recipe other than that and will do it again with half as much lemon. I might just omit the lemon juice all together and just use the zest.

A couple of tips about using lemon in cooking: First, you have to use fresh juice, not the stuff out of the bottle. Second, lemon juice is sour, zest is fresh and lemony. If the dish is too sour, leave out or reduce the juice and leave in the zest. I don't like sour quinoa, so I cook it in all veggie stock and use lemon juice only in the dressing and it's delish! Hope this helps!
