This recipe was fun to make and a big hit. I had a cookie exchange with a few ladys from work. We each made 2 different recipes, 4 dozen of each. My other recipe was for chocolate covered spoons.

The only problem I had with the recipe was that it crumbled when I tried to cut it in slices.

Don't coat with chocolate, better without. Try with chocolate chips??? Can add anything, I added Cranberries & raisins.

First time making biscotti. It was a lot easier than I would have thought. It is very good dipped in a hot cup of tea.

Much easier than my traditional mandelbroit. I substituted walnuts for the pistachios and it turned out very very good. Everyone enjoyed it.

Yes, these are so delicious that I had to reference the appropriate word in Italian. I made them for the office staff that works so hard at my medical school. They raved about them. On a procedural note, the white chocolate chips that I used melted to a rather thick consistency, so the dipping method deposited too much on the biscotti for my liking. Instead, I used an offset spatula to spread a thinner layer onto one side of them. Alternatively, you could thin the chocolate (NOT with water, perhaps a wee bit of heavy cream, or use nicer chocolate, since it may have more fat content and melt to a thinner consistency. In any event, they definitely were worth the effort. Go for it!

Mailed to my daughter at college and she loved it. Even my husband who is not a dried fruit fan enjoyed it. I only had one piece for myself. I put it on waxed paper to dry after dipping and it gave more of a candy finish. I also used sprinkles rather than tinted sugar.Another great biscotti recipe!

I made this tasty biscotti to send to all my family and friends this holiday season. It is the perfect cookie for mailing, because it's not too soft and doesn't go stale right away. The recipe is fairly easy and not too complex, I will definitely make these again even if it's not the holiday season.

This was my first attempt at making biscotti. It was very easy to mix and to shape into the log for the first baking. The only problem I did have when shaping it was the dough sticking to my hands. I then added a little flour to my hands and it made it easier to shape. I took it to my family Christmas dinner. It was such a hit that I have been requested to bring it back again next year.
