I made this tasty biscotti to send to all my family and friends this holiday season. It is the perfect cookie for mailing, because it's not too soft and doesn't go stale right away. The recipe is fairly easy and not too complex, I will definitely make these again even if it's not the holiday season.

This was my first attempt at making biscotti. It was very easy to mix and to shape into the log for the first baking. The only problem I did have when shaping it was the dough sticking to my hands. I then added a little flour to my hands and it made it easier to shape. I took it to my family Christmas dinner. It was such a hit that I have been requested to bring it back again next year.

I always follow recipes exactly and this didn't disappoint. The only change I made was eliminating the white chocolate. We don't like it. My husband loved them and my sister made Giada's chocolate anise biscotti and said she will never use another biscotti recipe again. And she is one great cook. Thanks Giada. Perfetto!

This was the perfect addition to my holiday gift baskets, being I have family members who love wine and
chocolate, they loved this along with the cookies and goodies that were in their baskets.
Thanks so much.
And easy? OH YEAH!

I DONT USUALLY BAKE BECAUSE I FIND IT TOO COMPLICATED BUT THIS RECIPE IS SO EASY. DIDN'T USE THE RED AND GREEN SUGAR BECAUSE I DONT LIKE TOO SWEET BUT IT WAS DELICIOUS AND LOOKS SO ELEGANT. I GAVE THIS OUT FOR CHRISTMAS AND WAS A BIG HIT!!!

this is an outstanding recipe - I tried using orange zest in place of the lemon and that was also very tasty.

I love this recipe!!! I didnt think that it was as difficult as it was; stated as medium. I didn't use the chocolate, maybe thats why it was easy for me. The flavor combinations I love. I would of liked it to have been a little more sweeter, but with the cranberrys and the pastacios it was a good combination. Its the typical cookie batter until you add your other ingredients. Giada, its a great treat, and it goes great with all the other cookies I made, and it smells absolutly yummy, as well as it tastes!! Ill def. make this over and over again, not just for the holidays!!!

These are so easy to make and quite impressive. Something that I plan to make all year - maybe trying some different nuts & dried fruits.
