This is an awesome recipe! I used orange zest instead of lemon. My family and I do not like things that are too sweet so I did not dip them into chocolate.

I had never attempted to make biscotti but Giada's recipe seemed so easy, I thought why not. I made these for my family's Christmas Eve celebration and they turned out just perfect. I will definitely make these many more times as my family (and I loved them. Thanks Giada for helping me surprise my Italian family with a great new recipe.

The Holiday Biscotti were great...
Last week I turn on the Food Net work your show was just coming ou the air. You were talking about the Holiday Biscotti, I watch and thought to my self I'm going to make up a batch. I did just that I went to the grocery store and pick up the ingredient. This was very easy to follow and they turn out great. I have had guest over and place them out on a plater with out cookies and everyone really like them.

Excellent recipe, I have many Italian cookie recipes but this one is the best. You can do just about any flavor and add whatever you want. I made these for Christmas and everyone is asking for the recipe.

Twas three days before Christmas and all through the house was the smell of these holiday biscotti. I made this recipe for treats with Christmas coffee. One family member came in and tried one, and then the trouble begn. Word spread about the biscotti and, before I had a chance to freeze them for Christmas day, they were all gone! I'm currently making my fifth batch hoping to have one left for Christmas.

Haven't tried them yet, they sound great. But wasn't the reason for cooling the biscotti intended to make the cutting easier? Maybe a little more cooling would help too.

This recipe produces perfect biscotti -- just the right level of crispy vs. chewy/soft. I skipped the chocolate dipping because I love cranberries and pistachios and didn't want to detract from their flavor. I'll make this one all year round. Love it!
