These are awesome and great option for a holiday cookie! Baked for 30 min and waited for 30 min to cut- no problems with that. I added 1/2 tsp of vanilla, which was a great suggestion from another reviewer. Also, I microwaved Ghiardelli white chocolate for 2:15 min and was perfect for dipping. Will def make again!

First- don't bake for 40 minutes. Bottom way to brown. I tried what someone suggested about oil in the white chocolate to thin it out. Great, but wouldn't harden. They are really just average tasting

A fantastic biscotti recipe - I've been making these for several years now. Not as dry as some biscotti, which makes them nice even without 'dunking'.

I have made this recipe about 5 times since last Christimas and it has never let me down. I change up the nuts or dried fruit and it still is awesome. Thanks Giada!

These biscotti had nice flavor but the texture was crumbly and not as crunchy as I would have liked. I have tried several recipes and I prefer the recipes that do not include any butter or oils for italian biscotti.

I made these biscotti to bring to my son's future inlaws for dessert on Christmas Eve when a different cookie recipe i had found came out terrible and was thrown out This recipe was easy and really delicious. His future mother-in-law, a sophisticated NYC doctor said they were good enough to sell and I should consider going into business making biscotti! I did not frost them with the melted white chocolate and add the sprinkles because I didn't have them on hand. The dough was very easy to work with and in addition to tasting wonderful, they were beautiful to look at.

I made this recipe for my daughter's class for their Around the World Christmas Party (her class was Italy. I had a little trouble cutting the biscotti without it crumbling so I made "mini" bitesize loaves and dipped them in chocolate and sprinkles. It worked awesome! It was perfect for little hands and the kids and adults LOVED them! They were so delicious and will be an annual baking treat for our American family!

This recipe is absolutely delicious. It is easy to make and looks fantastic. I have made this recipe exactly as written and they came out perfect. Made them 2 days ago, they are already gone - will make another batch today. Will make one change and that is to use dark chocolate for dipping, the white chocolate is too sweet. (at least for me anyway. I got only 14 cookies from the recipe, the log spread quite a bit. Any suggestions on how to keep it from spreading would be appreciated.

This is the best biscotti I have tasted in years!!! In 1998 we moved from Brookly, NY to Phoenix, AZ...one of the foods I missed the most was a good biscotti (I use to get them freshly baked at our local Italian bakery. Then, I found Giada's Holiday Biscotti. So far, I have made this recipe twice! It is so tasty and so reminds me of home. I am a diabetic, so I switched out the sugar for Splenda and made some of them with good white chocolate and some without...Anyway you make them, they are FANTASTIC!! Graci, Giada, my little pisan :
