I received a package of these sweet treats for a gift and loved them. I asked for the recipe and now they've become a favorite. I've made them with half whole-wheat flour and also used other combinations of dried fruits and nuts (raisins, dates, almonds, walnuts ... even some chocolate chips and they've always come out perfect. This is a real winner.

I have made this recipe many times (substituting dried cherries and almonds and it is absolultely wonderful! My husband even makes it if I don't feel like it. We never tried it with the cranberries...we love the cherries too much. On my 2nd bake, I don't leave it in the entire while and it is crunchy, but not super crunchy. I like it better like that.

These are so easy to make, taste great and everyone loves them! I do not dip mine in chocolate and they are still great! Enjoy!

really enjoyed this recipe...festive... delicious flavor combination...great texture. i was in a hurry, so instead of dipping the biscotti in the white chocolate, i simply melted it, scooped it into a small plastic bag, snipped off the tip, and drizzled away.

I made this with a combination of dried cherries, cranberries, and blueberries. I didn't have white chocolate on hand, so I didn't dip them. I put them in clear cellophane bags and tied with a Christmas ribbon. I put them on a pretty white platter and gave them away as "favors" at our Christmas Eve Dinner Party. I got great reviews from our guests after Christmas. They are great with your morning coffee.

I was really excited to try this based on the reviews and the fact that I love Giada.
Unfortunately, even as the dough was raw, it was really crumbly and dry. I forced it into a log shape, and of course when i went to cut it after it baked, it completely fell apart.
I followed the recipe exactly, why was it so dry? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I can't believe I have never attempted making biscotti until I try this recipe for Christmas. They tasted oh so much better than any biscotti I have ever purchased. They were very easy to make, they just take a little longer in the oven then every other cookie I make. This recipe, without question, is a keeper!

I am not a baker, but my cul-de-sac was having a cookie swap... I do love to cook, bake, not so much, so I saw Giada on TV and decided, why not?! Anyway, it took me forever, (I made two batches, and I decorated with red and white chocolate and sprinkles. They turned out fabulous! Even a non-baker (with patience can do this! Yummy and Thanks Giada.
