This were so easy to make I made with pistachios and dried cherries and SOOOO Good!!! made with and without chocolate coating and we all liked them plain. The flavor was just right and will make them now throughout the year and try several variations. Thank you for another great recipe!!! Happy holidays!!

I used almonds and dried cherries instead! This biscotti is awesome and my mom and I have decided that this is going to be my traditional Christmas treat! I'm going to add a little almond extract to the next batch. I, too, skipped the chocolate. They are simply too good and don't need it!

A tip: Our biscotti was crumbling after the first two cuts of the knife, so we cut it at less of an angle and it worked better. Don't know why, but it worked!

I can't wait to bring these to the rest of my family on Christmas!

This was my first time making biscotti -- I wanted to give them as Christmas gifts for people in my office. They were so easy and they came out great! I almost kept them for myself instead of giving them away: The lemon zest really gives them an extra-special flavor. I skipped the white chocolate coating because I thought they'd be too sweet.

I followed the recipe in the most exacting way. Although the biscotti cookies were tasty - they crumbled during the chocolate dipping process. Probably too much humidity here in So. Florida.

I really couldn't believe how easy this was - made a few variations as well, and everyone loved them. I'be made them four times in the last two weeks!

Lucious,The best biscotti I ever ate. I thought the cookies were too large for my cookie plate so I diveded the dough into 2-12 by 2 inch logs before I baked them. They were the right size and " Oh so good "

Love the cookies--I made some for a coworker's Christmas gift, and then I made a second batch last night. My husband is a little picky about food, but loved the biscotti; in fact, he was disappointed that I was waiting until tonight to put on the melted white chocolate. : Oh, I had to substitute walnuts because I ran out of my Trader Joe's pistachios, but they came out great.
